After finding out that Ironman Arizona is sold out , I have been altering my training plan . I have instead decided to set my sites on Ironman 70.3 in Austin , Texas 10/17/10. I have to admit my disappointment , but will use the oppurtunity to develop as a multi sporter .
Planning on entering the Az Ironman Full , I was originally planning on the full Rock N Roll marathon in San Diego as part of my training . The change in plans allows for an adjustment to the training macro cycle . Being shut out of Ironman Az made me nervous about not registering soon enough . Based on that fear , along with the training changes , I have just signed up for the Rock N Roll half .
I will use the run to work on speed , and prepare myself for sprint tri’s all the way to Ironman Austin 70.3.
Rather than a setback , this will be a perfect opportunity to put our training system to the ultimate test , and with ample time for implementation . Train 4 Life has been largely successful due to the use of the NeuroMeta Perfomance System.
The NeuroMeta Performance System works in three phases :
- Neromuscular Education (perfect the movement), corrective exercise (yellow zone)
- Metabolic Training , develop endurance , stregnth, and power around the movement (orange zone)
- Performance , creating micro, macro, and meso training cycles that evolve with the user (red zone)
